Captain Obvious Throws Pot Out of Car and onto Police Hood

dailyscene.com – BUFFALO, N.Y. New York State Police attempting to stop a vehicle were surprised when the suspect threw marijuana out of the sunroof of his car and onto the hood of their cruiser Monday night. Cops spotted 20-year-old, Captain Obvious (aka) Sean Schmidt hanging out of the sunroof of his car while traveling down Interstate 190 in Buffalo Monday night. As Officers turned on their signal lights, Schmidt tossed a small bag of marijuana from his sunroof, which landed on the hood of the police car. (You can almost hear “The Price is Right“losing horn as the bag of pot hit the hood.)

State police did not reveal how much marijuana was recovered from the “ditched weed,” only to say it was a small amount. If there was ever a time for decorum, this should have been one of those times. A word of advice, if you’re driving on the interstate at night with pot inside your car, it’s never a good idea to hang out of the sunroof, unless you enjoy paying hefty fines and court costs, just a little public service announcement from the sane people of the world to those who don’t know better. According to WVIB-TV, Buffalo, Schmidt was ticketed for marijuana possession and for not wearing a seatbelt, a rather light punishment considering he could have killed himself or worse someone else.

A professional stoner who asked to remain anonymous said, “Guys like Schmidt give stoners a bad name and contribute to the government’s anti-drug cause with their stupidity.”

“Do us all a favor pal and stick to the non-alcoholic beer and herbal incense, you light weight!”

Captain Obvious

Another fun link, MSB. However, here's a Captain Obvious for YOU: When are you going to get some regular contributors? If you want anyone to take you more seriously than Cheech and Chong you're going to need some reliable writers. Anyone can aggregate news. Not everyone can churn out original content. The Spirit of Independence comes much more from the ability of free men to voice their opinions than on his ability to post amusing stories on pot-smoking losers. Think about it. You'll be more successful as a website if you do.
