Churchill's dentures fetch nearly $24,000
Yahoo News - LONDON (Reuters) – A partial set of British wartime Prime Minister Winston Churchill's gold-mounted dentures has fetched 15,200 pounds ($23,770) at auction, over three times the estimate. The false teeth, specially designed to disguise Churchill's lisp, were sold by the son of the technician who was commissioned to make them. They had been expected to make a maximum of 5,000 pounds at Thursday's sale by Keys auctioneer. "The atmosphere was electric," said a Keys' spokesman.

The strongest beer ever made is served in a dead squirrel
The Independent - Brewing company BrewDog has created the world's strongest, and possibly most expensive, beer sold in taxidermied stoats. The BBC reported recently that Scottish Brewers, Brewdog, the creators of the 32% ABV Tactical Nuclear Penguin and the 41% Sink the Bismark, have broken the record for the world's strongest beer, with their new beverage, known as ‘The End of History,' which weighs in at 55% ABV. However, the record-breaking super-strength beer also comes served in dead squirrels or stoats.

By DON PEAT, QMI Agency - TORONTO - Don't leave your resume behind at the scene of the crime.Barrie, Ont., cops didn't have to look too hard for an alleged shoplifter who was hunting for a job at the same time over the weekend. The 40-year-old woman was at a Bayfield St. store for a job interview but after meeting the store manager and handing over her resume, the woman was spotted on store security cameras allegedly lifted several items, police said. She bolted with the items and the store manager, who was in the backroom at the time, called the cops.
