KARE11.com - COEUR d'ALENE, Idaho -- You'll forgive the manager of an Idaho thrift store if she never leaves a computer at work again. Sandra Bechthold had to do some work offsite recently, and left the Women's Center Thrift Store in the hands of one staffer and a group of volunteers. Bechthold left her laptop at the store while she was gone. When she returned, the two year-old Dell Inspiron and it's case were gone... accidently sold by a store volunteer for 5 bucks. Bechthold told the local paper she has no idea how her laptop ended up in the donation receiving room. As for that volunteer, she she decided on a $5 sale price because she once saw a laptop with no software that sold for that amount. Bechthold has placed a classified ad offering to buy the computer back.
