upi.com – By Ben Hooper – Authorities in Chicago confirmed a wheel fell off a small plane over the city and landed in the front yard of a resident’s home. The Chicago Department of Aviation said a single-engine Pilatus PC-12 plane was noticed shooting off sparks as it landed Thursday evening at O’Hare International Airport. After it safely came to a stop, officials noted the landing gear assembly from the left side of the aircraft was missing.
