deadline.com – By David Robb – Facing expulsion from SAG-AFTRA, Donald Trump resigned his membership from the union Thursday. To which SAG-AFTRA president Gabrielle Carteris and national executive director David White simply said: “Thank you.”
SAG-AFTRA’s national board, meeting in special session last month, found “probable cause” that Trump, who has been a member for over 30 years, had “violated the union’s Constitution,” and ordered the matter to be heard by SAG-AFTRA’s Disciplinary Committee.
