It’s the sort of thing you’d see contestants on the Great British Bake off attempt to make, while Paul Hollywood stares at them intently. But it’s fair to say lemon meringue pie isn’t the best dessert to attempt if you’re a beginner to baking.
Or in fact, have just recently discovered where your kitchen is located during lockdown. So when poor amateur baker Terry enthusiastically posted a photo of his attempt in a food rating group, it attracted some very tough comments.
