Revenge porn? Rob Kardashian posts sexually explicit images supposedly of Blac Chyna on social media

latimes.com – By Richard Winton – Reality star Rob Kardashian may have run afoul of California’s revenge porn law Wednesday after he posted sexually explicit images he said were of Blac Chyna, the mother of his child, on Instagram and Twitter. Kardashian, 30, posted the images as he accused her of cheating on him. The posts could be legally problematic because in 2013 California lawmakers passed a law penalizing what is known as “non-consensual pornography.”

White House Defends Trump Attacks on MSNBC Host Mika Brzezinski

bloomberg.com – By Toluse Olorunnipa – The White House defended President Donald Trump’s tweets attacking MSNBC host Mika Brzezinski despite criticism from Republican lawmakers that the personal jabs about a woman’s looks were unworthy of the presidency. White House Deputy Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders said the American people got “a fighter” when they elected Trump and rejected the idea that the president should be held to a higher standard of conduct.

Kushner firm’s $285 million Deutsche Bank loan came just before Election Day

washingtonpost.com – By Michael Kranish – One month before Election Day, Jared Kushner’s real estate company finalized a $285 million loan as part of a refinancing package for its property near Times Square in Manhattan. The loan came at a critical moment. Kushner was playing a key role in the presidential campaign of his father-in-law, Donald Trump. The lender, Deutsche Bank, was negotiating to settle a federal mortgage fraud case and charges from New York state regulators that it aided a possible Russian money-laundering scheme. The cases were settled in December and January.

O.C. coroner botches an ID, and a family buries a stranger, not their homeless son

latimes.com – By Frank Shyong – The Orange County Sheriff’s Department is investigating why the coroner’s office misidentified a body found behind a Fountain Valley Verizon store, authorities said. The family of Frank M. Kerrigan, a 57-year-old mentally ill homeless man, was informed that it was Kerrigan’s body that was found behind the phone store in May, authorities said.

Kerrigan’s family held a $20,000 funeral and buried the still-undentified body in a cemetery in the city of Orange, according to the Orange County Register.

But a few weeks later, a family friend who had been one of Kerrigan’s pallbearers called Kerrigan’s father with some surprising news: Kerrigan was alive and standing on his patio, the Register reported.

False alarm: Caltech staffer accidentally sends alert for large 1925 Santa Barbara earthquake

latime.com – By Rong-Gong Lin II – A staffer at Caltech mistakenly sent out an alert for a large magnitude-6.8 earthquake off the Santa Barbara coast — from 1925. The error happened when someone tried to correct the exact location of the Prohibition-era Santa Barbara earthquake, which happened 92 years ago. The erroneous report went out at around 4:51 p.m. A closer look at the alert, however, would have shown that something was amiss. The time of the alert was dated June 29, 2025 at 7:42 a.m. But it corresponds with a real earthquake that occurred a century earlier.

“That’s a mistake. It’s not real,” said Caltech seismologist Egill Hauksson. He said that scientists at UC Santa Barbara had recently complained that earthquakes from the region were actually located about 6 miles from where records indicated.

Off-camera, no audio broadcast: White House keeps undermining press briefing

money.cnn.com – by Tom Kludt – The White House press briefing has seen better days. Lately, in fact, the briefing is often not seen at all.For four days last week, representatives for President Trump skipped the usual on-camera briefing to take questions off-camera. This wasn’t the first time the White House had taken this step, but this month has brought an added twist. In response to networks like CNN that decided to broadcast audio of the briefing, even without a visual to accompany, the White House barred attendees from doing that, too. Monday’s briefing — the White House termed it a “gaggle,” a more informal set-up, though it took place in a format much like a briefing — was likewise off-camera, with audio broadcasting forbidden.

Two photos reveal disgusting reality behind ‘romantic’ wedding photos

mirror.co.uk – By Zahra Mulroy – Behind every wedding photo there’s a story. Not just about how the lucky couple met and fell in love – but about the extraordinary and, frankly, bizarre lengths some photographers have to go to get that money shot. The elegantly constructed and beautifully executed finished product are only half the story. Behind the scenes, wedding photographers and their assistants are toiling away to make as special and unique a photo opportunity as possible.
